Claudie Archer Van Cise 1930-2007

Claudie Archer Van Cise, 77, passed away Wednesday, September 12, 2007 in Corpus Christi, TX. She was born September 8, 1930 in Steiner Valley, TX to Claud T. and Edna Grace Woods Jenkins.

She married Lavoy"Sonny" Archer on October 9, 1946 in Morgan, TX. He preceded her in death on April 23, 1987. She married Frank Van Cise on April 5, 1997 in Corpus Christi.

Mrs. Van Cise worked for over 30 years at Walls Manufacturing and was a member of Calvary Baptist Church in Cleburne.

Claudie Archer Van Cise is survived by her husband, Frank Van Cise of Corpus Christi; son, Jimmy Archer and wife Susan of Cincinnati, Ohio; daughters, Marleana Cudd and husband, David of Corpus Christi and Delores Covington and husband Don of Paradise, TX; grandchildren, Jennifer Baisden and husband Ralph of Ft. Worth, Robyn Davis and husband John of Haslet, Barry Archer and wife Michelle of Hendersonville, TN, Amberly White and husband Gordon of Gallatin, TN, Dawn Brownlee and husband Tim of Corpus Chrisiti and Ashley Cudd of Corpus Christi; great-grandchildren, Lyndee, Kara, Whitney, Luke, Kendale, Lyndsey and Sydney; extended children, Marlene Fort and husband Ben of Houston, Eileen Garcia and husband Renee of Alice, TX, Kathy Goodson of Ramona, CA, Francie Weir and husband Doug of Devine, TX, Julie Schroeder of League City, TX and Jeremy Van Cise and wife Katey of Houston; and a number of nieces, nephews, brothers-in-law, sisters, in-law, extended family members and friends. She was preceded in death by her sister, Grace Louise Stapp and her parents.

We have an announcement to make....Grayson James arrived 9/12/07 at 5:45PM....he is 8 pounds 3 ounces and 19 1/2 inches long.

Mommy and baby are doing great.

July 11 came and went....since it fell on a Wednesday...we are celebrating later. She has another b-day party this weekend and Grayson's baby shower was scheduled for next weekend. I think our plan will make up for the party not being until July 28th.
