Lindsay inducted into National Junior Honor Society
Lindsay's school, Rucker-Stewart Middle School values school and community service and involvement because such activities reinforce the school's ethic of selflessness, compassion; civic responsibility and respect for others and in a positive way encourage students to adopt these values in their personal lives. The Rucker-Stewart Honor Society will continue its focus on academic excellence and diligent social service.
In order to apply for membership, students are required to fill out an application, be recommended by all four core subject area teachers, and turn the completed application in to Mrs. Robinson. Student will be evaluated by the five values of citizenship, service, leadership, scholarship and character. In order to be eligible for membership, students must maintain a high grade point average, an 85 or higher, and become good citizens by participating in service projects.

Lindsay and several of her friends were inducted last night. She was nominated as the 7th grade representative.
